Having over 30 years' experience as a metal polisher/electroplater, in a successful, family-run electroplating company.

All wheels are manually prepped before the vibratory machine polishing process. This includes a total strip of any paint and lacquer, taking the wheel back to bare aluminium.
The surface will be rubbed down by hand and any blemishes, scratches or light marks will be removed.
The vibratory machine operates a 3 stage polishing process using ceramic media, water and compound.
The ceramic media comes in various shapes, sizes and textures which ensures the entire wheel is polished, including hard to reach places which traditional lathe polishing cannot achieve.

- Stage 3 Mirror finish
This can be used for car, motorbike and lorry wheels ranging from 10-20 inches.
The process can be time intensive but this will all depend on the condition of the aluminium.
The vibratory polishing machine can also polish parts made from aluminium, steel, brass and plastic.
If the wheels are in daily use, we recommend you have them lacquered to protect the surface. However this may tone down the mirror finish slightly but will add protection. If using for shows only, we advise they are waxed while in storage.
